Kamogelo Clementine Moreti, 2017
I was about to give up hope that I would not be able to continue my education, but the SCM alumni bursary truly helped me. My aspirations of realising my dreams were impeded by an outstanding balance that I had to settle in order to be admitted into an honours programme I desperately wanted to pursue.
I vividly recall how dejected I felt, believing that I wouldn’t qualify since I wasn’t an undergraduate student and, more importantly, because I still had a pile of debt to pay off. Yet while I was consumed with this internal conflict, lo and behold, God gave me this financial aid.
I am incredibly thankful to the anonymous individuals behind this incredible project, which persists in helping others fulfil their aspirations and serving as representations of God’s unadulterated love and compassion.
I’m going to pursue a master’s degree soon, and it’s a sobering awareness that I couldn’t have done so without the crucial financial support I received from the SCM Alumni Bursary.
How Good God Is! May divine providence consistently support every person involved in this initiative in ever increasing measures.
