Executive Committee

The executive committee members are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Bursary Fund. This responsibility they discharge without remuneration whatsoever. If anything, they incur all the expenses of running the Bursary Fund. As a result, all the financial contributions received by the Bursary Fund are used solely for offering bursaries to deserving members of the SCM.

The composition of the executive is as follows:

  • Chairman
  • Vice chairman
  • General secretary
  • Head of Finance
  • Additional Members x2

Below are details of members of the executive committee:

Mr Thabiso Koos Sekhokho

Chairperson

He was in the SCM in the early to mid 1990’s and served in various capacities, including as general secretary.

Mrs Dorah Munyai

Vice Chairperson

She joined the SCM in the mid 1990’s and served in various committees of the SCM.

Mr Kwena Thema

General Secretary

He served as the chairperson of the SCM in 2015.

Mr Sikhumbuzo Paul Sibisi

Head of Finance

Paul was in the SCM in the early to mid 1990’s. He served in various capacities, including as chair of outreach committee, member of the executive committee and evangelism team.

Dr Japhtha Mokoele

Additional Member

He served in various committees of the SCM in late 1990’s and early 2000’s.

Mr Phillip Moeti Mantso

Additional Member

e sang tenor in the SCM choir in the early to mid- 1990’s.
